At present, the work of issuing Certificate of Practice (COP) to the lawyers appointed as provisional notaries of states like West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat is going on at a fast pace. Those whose profiles have been checked by the government. COP is being issued to those whose profiles do not have any issue of documents.

Those who have been appointed as provisional notaries, and if there is any defect in their profile, they have been given a chance to clear the defect, those who have cleared their defect have been issued COP as soon as possible.

The Notary Portal launched by the Government of India which is recently opening on the computer or laptop version but is not opening on the mobile phone, this means that the mobile version has not been launched.

But recently, the website which was launched by the Government of India and the Legal Department, on its mobile version, those who have been appointed as provisional notaries have been given a new option to change their password. Earlier, to change the password, one had to email the Notary Ministry. And when the new password was given by the Legal Department through email. But now you can change the password directly from your mobile.

After opening the Notary Portal, you will see a website like this.

1. Now directly click on the option given below numer 4 i.e. forgot password.
2. After clicking, a new window will open in front of you. 

• Now click on your  Enter application number or registration number.
• then enter your date of birth.
• And then enter your email (this email is the one which you had given at the time of applying online, enter that email).
• and in the last enter the capture code And submit it.

A new password will be given on your email, login with the same password, now your password problem will be solved.
