The Government of India has recently launched a new Notary Portal. The Government of India has launched a portal for lawyers from all over the country to apply for Notary. 




Lawyers from different states of the country had applied for notary and many lawyers were given provisional notary, but A new notary certificate was not issued by the Notary Department.
Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal (Ministry of Law and Justice) Hon'ble Minister of State inaugurated the new Notary Portal in a function in New Delhi and it was informed that now all the notary work will be done online.

Notary Portal provides an offline interface between Notaries and Government for various services such as submission of application for appointment as Notary and issuance and renewal of Certificate of Practice, and Issue of practice certificate.

After the inauguration of the portal by the Minister, the first Certificate of Notary Practice was digitally issued to Shri Bhura Ram, a resident of Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The Notary Portal launched today in collaboration with NIC has been designed and developed with various modules which will be rolled out in phases.

In the first phase, the module related to issuance of Certificate of Practice to provisionally selected Notaries has been launched.

How can I register on the online notary portal.
First of all www.notary.gov.in You have to go to the site and then you can register there.


(1) First of all go to the new notary site and press the menu button and then click on new user registration Click on it.



(2) After clicking this provisnally selected notaries Click on it.



(3) Provisnally selected notaries By clicking on it the below given window will open.


(4) Once you enter your Notary Application Number ( NR/_____/_____) and Date of Birth( __/__/____), your Name, Email Address and Mobile Number will be displayed.Finally you will have to create a password and after entering the capture code your registration will be completed.

(5) Now You registered user login Click on.


(6) A window like this will open.


(7) The username will be your email and the password will be the one you created.

(8) After entering the username and password, enter the capture code and login. If your profile has been updated by the Notary Ministry of Government of India, then your profile will be visible to you.

Work is currently underway on the new Notary Portal of the Government of India. Very soon, digital certificates will be shown to all Notary Advocates from here.

Conclusion:

With the launch of the Notary Portal, there will be no need to physically submit applications/requests to the Central Notaries. They can submit the applications online.
monitor its progress; and download the digitally signed Practice Certificate from their DigiLocker accounts.
