Classification of offence:
Punishment: imprisonment for not less than 1 year but which may extend to 7 year and fine.
This offence is congnizable, and non-bailable.
Trail by: magistrate of the first class.
Section 112.
- Whoever, being a member of a group or gang , either singley or jointly, tickets, unauthorised betting or gambling, selling of public examination questions pepper or any other similar criminal act,it said to commit petty organised crime.
- Whoever commits any petty organised crime shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which shall no be less than one year but which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
